Ok, so I could give a dozen genuine excuses for missing quite a bit of time, but instead, I'll just try to recommit to giving it another go!!

We had a wonderful Christmas with a visit (for a month!) from my sister Emma, her husband Terry, and kids Ruby and Brad from Wales. My cousin Jordan also came for 2 weeks. It was a full house with all the noise and mess that goes along with it! Still, we enjoyed it all and made some great memories- thanks Em!

We over ate, of course, thanks to all the goodies they brought over, and all the family get togethers!! It was fun, but it took all of January to not need a daily dose of chocolate. And now we've hit Valentines Day!!!

Last night, we had a terribly windy snow storm hit which was the cause of many road closures and car slide offs, and accidents. It was so bad, that many schools closed today because the roads were snowpacked, or they had delayed starts. Our school was only having a 1/2 day anyway, so they decided to close all together. They are also out tomorrow (Friday) and Monday for Presidents Day, so they were excited to have a long break! The only downside was that they missed Valentines parties today, and didn't get to pass any out or collect any in!! We think they'll do it on Tuesday instead. (Save their teeth a bit longer!!)
We have been hit hard this last month with snow storms and it's getting quite annoying now! I know it's a good thing to have all the moisture, but I am so ready for Spring!!
