a few busy weeks!

PART 1
Wow, we have had a busy few weeks!! I will try to fill you in on the details and photos, starting with KC's grandma passing away. It was a blessing for her and a time to celebrate her legacy. Her funeral was the day before Mother's Day. All of KC's siblings came with their families except for Joey's husband Jerry, and Amanda and her family, who live in Florida.

We went with 3 and came back with 6!!!!

We had some cousins sleep over on the Friday night after the viewing. We traded Brecon for Randy, Taggart, Bridgette and Brison...I think we got the short end of the stick!!! Just kidding!

They came without their bags (spur of the moment thing; you know, when your kids put you on the spot!!), so they wore KC's t-shirts and some shorts from our kids. We had fun!

Mothers Day Photos!

KC & the kids made breakfast; I talked to Emma who had her baby that morning; I talked to my wonderful Mother; KC came home early in the afternoon (no meetings!); had dinner with alot of the family at KC's parents home. A good day!

Brecon's grade had a Civil War Re-enactment activity and they got to dress the part and hear stories of how it was back then, and also participate in the war as soldiers. It was pretty exciting! They ate broth and bread for lunch and got to be outside all day...got to love that, right?

Sydney had her Gymnastics Exhibition Meet!

All of the kids got to show off their routines and
skills they have been practicing in class. The theme
this year was, GO WILD! and they each got a goodie
bag with a jungle beanie!
Syd had alot of fun. I love coaching her and seeing
her so excited when she makes her tricks!!

She is working hard to be ready to move into level 4!

A video clip of Syd doing her floor routine :)

She is so cute - we love you Syd!xx

Looks like you have been up to some fun stuff. I am so excited for my girls to start tumbling and I think I will enjoy teaching them as much as you enjoy teaching Syd!

Always on the run and doing everything you can for your kids. You are a great person, I'm glad I have gotten to know you a little better. Thanks for sharing. The pictures and video are super cute.

Thank you for your comment on my blog! You are so nice. I’m sorry to hear about KC’s grandmother passing. I remember her. Please give the Peisley Family mine and my families condolences. The Peisley Family is a great family- they were a great strength to me in my youth.

Good for Sydney. Looks like she really enjoys it. What a fun idea to do the Civil War Enactment. We took our kids to one this last year and it really changes the way they think about it, doesn't it?

I love gymnastics... I always say I will put my girls in, but the lack of funds always puts it off until later. It looks like you guys are keeping busy. We really need to get together! Hopefully soon. Let's plan it!
