Proud Mother! :)
Brecon has had a few busy weeks, starting with earning his Webelos badge and his Compass Points Emblem at the Blue & Gold Banquet - he now has his eyes firmly set on earning his Arrow of Light in June ( he knows it'll be the 1st one in our new ward too...he's a little competative too!!) Great job Brec!
Brecon also got a black eye a couple of weeks ago, with a cut on the side - right in time for School Picture Day!! Typical!!!We won't go into details on how he got it - let's just say his sister McKay was involved, as well as a back scratcher, and the door casing!! NOT a good mix!!!!
Then last week, he started feeling pain in his front top tooth - he said it got bumped in P.E. and it was aching.
(He had an accident 2 yrs ago and hit his 2 front teeth on the hard wood part at the bottom of the couch! -also involving his sister!! It displaced one of his top teeth and it had to have a bridge placed on it to reposition it and hold it back in place! )
Since two years had past, we thought we were in the clear with it, but I took him in to the dentist, and discovered he needed a root canal!! Apparently, that accident had caused nerve damage, even though we couldn't tell as his teeth has not discolored. Anyway, he got a partial root canal that day, was put on antibiotics, and set up for the 2nd part in two weeks! Not fun, but he was very brave; he said he loved the gas part and falling asleep, but still being able to hear the drill!!!
It hasn't all been bad though - he did get to go Goose Hunting with KC for a few days earlier this week. They drove to Denver Colorado on Sunday; hunted 2 days; then came home on Wednesday evening. No, we will not be eating goose meat - it doesn't even enter the house!! KC gives it away to his workers, who love it, and I'm happy to not see it, and he's happy for the opportunity to go :)

Good for Brecon and you too! Don't you think that the scouting program is such a great thing for boys. I love the black eye. Amazing how those things always happen right before pictures!
Great job Brecon. Hope he feels better!!
Good job to Brecon - although sorry about the tooth and the black eye! I've gone private on my blog, so send me your blog address and I'll invite you. It's such a fun way to keep in touch:) Our email is bjones.family@hotmail.com
Congrats Brec! Sorry to hear about all of the mishaps. Hopefully Brecon is finished with any injuries for the year.
Don't tell Boyd KC & Brecon went to Colorado. He would be jealous
