Easter brings Happiness

HAPPY EASTER!

We hope you all had a Happy Easter with your family and friends :)

We had a lovely weekend - the kids got to participate in 3 different Egg Hunts between the City, Neighborhood and Family activities!! There was, of course, alot of candy and chocolate and excitement over Easter baskets, but we were pleased to hear them talk about the real reason for Easter and remember the Savior and what he has done for us through the Atonement, His Death, and Ressurection.

Since having and losing Marcus, we have had lots of time and opportunity to talk about life after death and the resurrection, and they have great hope to see their brother again someday. Sydney will often say, "I can't wait for Jesus to come again because I know Marcus will come back too!" It's so touching to hear them talk that way and see their faith and testimony grow.

Anyway, we were happy to have the Bishop home with us all afternoon (no meetings, yeah!) and hang out, and then eat a roast lamb dinner together - mint sauce and all!! It was pretty yummie - still not as good as Mam's though :)

Brecon loved his lilac shirt! Sydney loves her pink dress!

Yellow suits McKay!

It was nice to have KC home in time to take some pics in our Church clothes

Of course, there were plenty of Mini Eggs to go around and everyone chowed down - I love 'em, but can't wait to get those little demons out of the house!!!!!! So, naturally, I ate as many as I could yesterday to help in that feat.!! I'll pay for it today and all week, I'm sure :) Somehow, I dont' think I'm alone in that problem!!
All the more reason to get the warm weather here so we can get out and work it off :)

Happy Easter! Your family looks so great! That's nice that your kids know why we have easter. Mallory asked me today... why do we have easter again? Maybe by next year we will get it down.

I loved your comments about Marcus.

We love you guys!
