Thanks to KC's parents (who stayed the night), we were able to take off early this morning and head up to the Salt Lake Temple to witness the sealing of our friend Nate Pemberton to his beloved sweet wife Jenni and son Broden (who both recently passed away), and to their 3 other children, Dakota, Sequoia, and Theoryn. It was a very touching experience and I felt the spirit so strong there. Nate held up very well, even though you could see it on his face how difficult it was for him. The children were adorable and sweet. The sealing ordinance worker gave some great words of comfort and support to Nate and his family.
We were grateful to have been able to attend and be reminded that even though life is fragile, the sealing power is not and will bind you as eternal families forever. I am thankful for my temple marriage to my sweet husband, that allows us to be together forever and have our children sealed to us too. That knowledge and ordinance, brings me great comfort and hope, especially as I think about our little boy Marcus - that, no matter whats happened, he is a part of our eternal family.

That is so neat that you were able to go do this. I be the spirit was so strong there and I am sure Jeni was there as well and I bet Nate could feel that!
That is so precious. My Brother, Justin, was also there. It is an amazing place to be. I'm sure the spirit was SO strong and incredible. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you found my blog! Thanks for "spying" It's fun to see what everyone is up to!
That is awesome that you were able to go. I think for me I was able to deal with this better knowing that Nate was going to go through with the sealing. I still am heartbroken over this, i can still hear Jenni laughing from the last time i spoke with her over the phone. Thank goodness for eternal families!
I'm so happy that you guys were able to be there. I helped serve at the luncheon after and there was definitely a different spirit about it. I hope this will help bring some comfort to Nate too!
Nikola, I am so sorry for the loss in that sweet family. Our prayers are with them for comfort and strength. I hate being late, and I am so late getting back to you, sorry! This is Andrew's wife Lindsay. I am so glad you left a comment on my blog! I am like dial-up, slow to get going...I am not very good with computers. I will be keeping in touch! Have a wonderful day!
