What a turn around!! Yesterday was upper 70's, today is upper 30's!! It's even snowing right now!!! It was really windy this morning - still is a bit, blowing all the snow around!
Fortunately, Brecon had his 1st official job today helping a neighbor lay tile in the bathroom and laundry room.
(He came up with the idea of starting a summer business of lawn care, yard work and babysitting with a couple of buddies in the neighborhood. They call themselves "The Three Amigos". I helped him print up some fliers a few weeks ago, and he handed them out to some of the neighbors, just to get started. I told him he wouldn't be able to really do much till schools out for summer. But one of the neighbors requested his services this week and he was so excited). He left just after 8 am and got home around 3 pm and was holding his first paycheck!!
He already knows how he wants the breakdown to go; tithing 10%, mission 20%, Mam & Dad 20%, and then 50% for him. We told him he didn't have to give us any (yet!!), but he's insisting on it! So we'll just add it to his mission savings :)
While he was gone, the girls and I did some chores, then they played indoors till lunch. We had an indoor picnic today in the TV room and sat and watched 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers' (an old musical movie for those of you who don't know!!). They loved it - I love musicals, so I put alot of effort into getting my kids excited about them!! It works, most of the time :)
We've got phonecalls that both soccer and baseball are cancelled this evening, due to the weather, so now we have alittle more free time on our hands.

Way to go Brecon! Crazy about the weather. I love the fact that you like musicals. That is one of our favorites. It has some of the best songs.
