Day 5 -Friday
Today was Zoo day!! The sun was back, so after our daily chores, we headed to Hogle Zoo.
Well, lots of other people had the same idea as us, so we waited 30 mins in line to buy our tickets!! Once inside though, it didn't feel too crowded and we enjoyed the afternoon strolling around. We bumped into a few friends there...and I think we saw a few relatives there too - on KC's side!!! ha,ha -cheeky :)
KC came and met us after work, and took McKay with him on their 'date night'. They went out to eat at Chuckarama (her fav) and then onto a Utah Blaze game (Arena Football). KC is a 'ball boy' and sits down on the field in the visitors corner. McKay took Grandma Karen along to sit with up in the stands. They got to ride the bus downtown, so she was excited about that too!
Brec, Syd and I hung out at home, then went to Artic Circle for ice-cream.

I was so glad to hear from you, I wasn't sure how many people had a blogspot but I am so glad you do. I love it and being able to keep up on those we don't see very often.
Which marathon are you going to run and is it a full or 1/2? I can send you the one I used but it was only for a 1/2 marathon. Let me know, it was SO much fun.
Holy cow! We just found you through Josh and Kellie's page. How are you guys doing? It is fun to see what you have been doing and your cute kids.
The zoo looks like fun! Don't you just love getting out and doing things as a family? It's hard for the kids to fight when they are having fun. We do "date nights" with our kids too. It is nice to talk to them one on one without any competition from siblings. Love the way you do slide shows. Your kids are so cute

Hi Nik, My name is Amber Witbeck Rees. I am an old friend of KC's. I am new at this blogging thing and have been looking up old friends, saw your name, and came across you guys. Also, my family went to the zoo for Spring Break and I think our paths crossed. I wasn't for sure because it's been 15 years (I think??) since I've seen a Peisley, but they do have a definite stamp. It's been fun keeping in touch with old friends by blogging...(It's like scrapbooking without the mess.)You have such a beautiful family. You and KC should be proud!!!
